What should we strive for?

You see, I can’t speak for you guys, but I know that ever since I can remember I always wanted to help others. I always wanted to have the knowledge and experience to guide people. Now, I am only 26, but because of the desire to help others I have put myself through many trials that have helped me mature and helped me gain an understanding of life. I am no expert at all yet!, but I know that one day I will be able to help others. That said, I believe that everyone on earth is here for a reason. This is not something new as many servant leaders, Jesus included, have mentioned it before. We are here to help each other become better and there is no better reward than to help one another. The more I experience the more I find this to be true. I have seen people who are greedy, people who isolate themselves, who are selfish, and although it may payoff for some time. In the long run is not something that will bring you happiness. Stephen Covey mentioned in his book First Things First that humans are here to live, to love, to learn, and to leave a legacy. I ask you now, how can one do that without the help of another person. So to answer the question; What should we strive for? I honestly think we should strive to help others and to discover how we can do that to the best of our abilities. I know that everyone has their own way so I would recommend that you work day in and day out to find what your true passion is all about and use that to help everyone else. That is what I am doing by creating this website and I hope that I can make an impact on other peoples life for the better.
